Expedock provides Specialized AI Agents for Global Trade.

Our software supports 4 of the top 20 largest supply chain businesses in the world which includes the likes of Maersk, CMA CGM, Kuehne + Nagel and CEVA Logistics. We automate the shipments of everything from household items of large online retailers like Wayfair to even machinery of mining and oil companies like Capital Drilling.

There are millions of these supply chain businesses globally with tens of millions of employees working in these organizations. They’re doing redundant entry, classification, report generation & prediction. We provide AI agents that can accomplish all of this work to build a future where trade is accessible & efficient.
Everything around you has been transported in a container at some point. Almost a billion of these containers move around every single year. These containers are moved by carriers, 100Ks of freight forwarders and millions of shippers.

These businesses have a difficult time operating given the lack of freight talent which exists in the world. Instead of hiring logistics professionals to do a lot of this manual and less strategic work, they can now hire AI agents specialized in this freight work to eliminate the process for them.

We typically sell to C-Levels or Managers at these supply chain organizations - we have built out process specific automation for all the departments whether it is Operations, Customs, Sales, Customer Support or Finance.
We normally compete against manual labor whether that is hiring staff directly within the business or employing foreign labor at a lower cost. I would say this is the situation for 60% of the deals we are competing in. Given it is mostly automated, we often can provide a faster experience.

For the other 40% of the deals, we are working against other data extraction software providers. That said, these solutions do not take ‘text-based’ input or emails. Our generative AI approach allows us to do so.
At the moment we charge on a per agent basis. We ask them how much work they want done. Each agent can only do certain processes to a certain capacity and so we would sell them extra agents when they are at the limit.

This conforms to our customers’ existing mental model when it comes to purchasing work to be done. If there’s too much work, we just add headcount. This is the same model.

Supply chain businesses are our customers. We have a constant funnel of leads through cold calls and going to events. More recently, we’ve also had some coming inbound.

Many of them can easily be found on import/export databases then we find their contact details on the web.
We’ve grown more than 50% over the past 5 months since we pivoted our product to Guided AI Agents. We’ve raised a Series A from top-tier investors and brought together a world-class team from different successful startups.

We’ve built out a technical moat with the wide variety of process-specific automation and integrations necessary to serve these customers.

Our next goals include:
1. Further increasing our generative AI model use cases to make the conversational experience almost completely automated
2. Scale customer acquisition further
